![]() Besides Drakkens crew and few members of the Nero empire we never saw other servants.thats imo also part of bad world building.Įven if we saw some members of the Nero empire there was a lot more potential but Hiro never used it, he rushed the whole empire. Same thing with the OSG and their "crew" members. Whats the point of the whole IUA if Hiro never showed them in a good way? We never saw other members besides the OSI, how many ranks are in that organization? Who is the leader of the whole organization? etc. Why the fuck does she and the others have a crew? Next part of the Holy problem is here fleet, we know two core members but sadly we never saw anything of them. Instead to give her a magic/sorcery EG power Hiro gave here only a melt EG power.lame. She doesn't can use overdrive and her EG is boring too. But what I missed is that she never had the chance to do something big against Crow or Cure. Next problem is Holy, she was one of the better wrote characters so far and I really like her and her part of the story. Hiro also doesn't give his EG a name lol. Jaguar was the strongest one and Hiro let this guy die without to show any feats or to do important stuffs. Sadly the same thing happened with the other OSI members. Same thing with Justice he was the commander of that fleet and one of the OSI and still we never saw what he really can do and his story was also really boring, his view of justice was lame too. Example Victory and Creed two core members of Justices crew and so far we never saw them in a real fight nor were they important for the plot. All of them had their own fleet, but Hiro never used them. The OSI: they were 6 strong fighters who are the counterparts of the OSG. Plus he only showed us a little bit about the whole groups in the universe. So far Hiro only focused on the story of the crew and on the conflict between humans and robots. ![]() Foot have a really big universe but we barely know something about it. Even after this arcs they were good moments like Ziggy=Shiki etc.īut I think the main problem with EZ story is that Hiro never expanded the world building. They had a lot of good moments like Shikis death. There have been good arcs like Drakkens and Aoi cosmos war arc. What Hiro made is boring-okay.nothing special even if the idea is good.Ĭlick to expand.Imo the main problem isn't U0 itself it's the way how Hiro wrote the arc and the whole story so far. Some characters of the old universes are part of them like the old boss of Oasis or Creed or Laguna or so. Neros empire should be much bigger than the last time, with 12 oceans members instead of 6. Imo Rebecca should be part of Rachels cult and this time she is the enemy and the last member of the crew that will rejoin. Some old crew members shouldn't be part of the crew again, like Rebecca. Jinn and Kleene should be part of Holys team.Īll of the OSG members should be part of different races this time and not only robots.thats lame. All 3 new characters should be alien characters. ![]() Plus imo the changes of U0 story should be more difficult than that what Hiro wrote so far.Įxample: neither Jinn nor Kleene are part of Drakken organization. ![]() Imo the only one who should be good are, Drakken and Kurenai and thats only because they were once good before they turn to the dark side. Foot it's okay that some changes happened, like Kurenai is a good mother or something like that.īut to many of the old enemies are good now and thats boring. If you can get past the very occasional slower moments in the beginning chapters of the story (as was the similar case as FT), Groove Adventure Rave will definitely pull you into a grand adventure that by the end will leave you laughing, crying, and most of all satisfied.D. Many concepts and characters/groups/magic designs in FT can be traced back to this series and its interesting to note how they are used both similarly and differently in each other to build the large and mysterious world Rave immerses you in.Īlso, for those who like a more linear storyline while still having the branching, yet interesting, story arcs FT is popular for, Rave never loses focus on the ultimate goal the heroes strive to achieve and yet, fortunately in my opinion, still find a way to incorporate other storylines that further develop character motivations and the overall situation the world finds itself in. both are Hiro Mashima works), Groove Adventure Rave, or Rave Master in some regions, takes the Mashima art style and use of a wide variety of colorful characters and places them in an adventurous, comedic, and at times suspensefully dark save-the-world fantasy Fairy Tail fans would find both familiar and fun. Aside from the obvious relations between the two series (i.e.
